Ever since I was a child, I've just had this sense that I'm connected to the spiritual world. I thought everyone else felt the same way. I can hear voices - not all the time - but when I'm with certain people, it sometimes comes through.
Ace Rothstein: [voice-over] In the casino, the cardinal rule is to keep them playing and to keep them coming back. The longer they play, the more they lose, and in the end, we get it all.
Ace Rothstein: [voice-over] They never know what hit them. And if, and when, they do find out that they just got zapped by a cattle prod, they wish they really did have a heart attack.
Nicky Santoro: [voice-over] For two days and two fuckin' nights, we beat the shit out of this guy. I mean, we even stuck ice-picks in his balls.
Automated MNU Instructional Voice: [in MNU Humvee] When dealing with aliens, try to be polite, but firm. And always remember that a smile is cheaper than a bullet.
John Dunbar: [voice over] It seems every day ends with a miracle here. And whatever God may be, I thank God for this day.
John Dunbar: [voice-over] They were a people so eager to laugh, so devoted to family, so dedicated to each other. The only word that comes to mind is harmony.
Alex: [voice over] My legal name is Alexander Perchov, but all of my friends dub me Alex, because this is much more flaccid to utter.
Nick Dunne: Go, you're my voice of reason. I need you with me on this. Margo Dunne: Of course I'm with you. I was with you before we were even born.
Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter: [voice over narration] The one thing I could do, and the only thing was box. I had tasted my own blood and I loved it.
[First lines] One Stab: Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness and they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy, or they become legends.
Celia: [answering phone calls] Monsters Inc., please hold. Monsters Inc., I'll connect you. Mrs. Scaremonger is on vacation. Would you like her voice mail?
Su Li-zhen Chan: Why did you call me at the office today? Chow Mo-wan: I had nothing to do. I wanted to hear your voice.
Avner: [over the phone with his infant daughter] Hey, sweetheart, this is your papa... this my voice, my darling... don't forget what I sound like, okay?
Voice of Adso as an Old Man: Who was she? Who was this creature that rose like the dawn, as bewitching as the moon, radiant as the sun, terrible as an army poised for battle?
Rusty: Saul, turn that off, will you? Saul: [in fake accent] I'll turn it off when I'm ready to... Rusty: Saul! Saul: [normal voice] It's off, it's off!
Michael: [from the theatrical trailer] . [At the Tram Terminal] Michael: [in insistent upset voice] I'm looking for Hanna Schmitz! Tram Supervisor: Schmitz has left. Michael: [surprised and even more upset] LEFT?
Joe Gillis: [voice-over] The whole place seemed to have been stricken with a kind of creeping paralysis - out of beat with the rest of the world, crumbling apart in slow motion.
Obi-Wan: I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
[last lines] Caden Cotard: I know what to do with this play now. I have an idea. I think... Millicent Weems: [voice over] Die.
Lt. Col. Gordon Tall: [voice over] Shut up in a tomb. Can't lift the lid. Playing a role I never concieved.
