What kept me going through all the years? More than anything, the love of and respect for competition. That's what it comes down to for me. That's why I do this.
Chuck Noland: That's a search area of 500,000 square miles. That's twice the size of Texas. They may never find us.
You have all these song titles and song time, and you put it in a certain order, and you slap a cover on it. That's a record. That's how I've seen all my records.
The only credit I can give them. They synchronize wonderful. That's all. They synchronize very - you would have thought that they were actually acting, but they were synching all the time, and that's a rough job.
My hands are already full writing and directing, because that's a full time job. Actually, that's why I don't produce as well, as there's already enough producers.
It's taken a long time but eventually when I had the songs in place and demos right and I found myself a manager, that's when everything started happening quickly but I think that's always the way it is.
So many times I've done a CD, and then the week after I record it, I've got this new tagline that's killer. And it makes the whole bit better. It happens all the time. But that's just the process of comedy.
On 'Swingtown,' I think that's when I was able to blend the character-slash-leading lady roles, and that's what I'm doing on 'Once Upon a Time' as well. She's a leading lady, but she's also this character.

That's why I do what I do, and that's why I wanted to be an actress from the time I was six years old. If I can't effectively move people, then I would prefer not to do it.

Randal Graves: I'd buy the Quick Stop and reopen it myself. That's what I'd do. That's what we should do.
[from film trailer] Kristoff: Now we just have to survive this blizzard. Anna: That's no blizzard. That's my sister.
[as he kills the three Orcs guarding Frodo] Sam: That's for Frodo! And for the Shire! *And that's for my old Gaffer!*
Gil: It's understated but elegant. That's what you always say. Helen: Cheap is cheap. That's what I always say.

Billy Ray Valentine: Hey that's the motherf- I mean... that's the gentleman that had me busted.
Napster is essentially using the music to make money for themselves and that's the part that's both morally and legally wrong. That I think is more relevant than whether or not I'm losing money.
