When I come out to do my stand-up set, I pretty much get bombarded with lines from movies. You try to play off it a little bit, but that's what people want to see.
[first lines] Salvage Team Leader: Bio-readouts are all in the green, looks like she's alive. Well, there goes our salvage, guys.
Teddy Brewster: [His first line] I must be catching cold. Abby Brewster: No, dear, it was Reverend Harper who sneezed.
[repeated line, to Ted and Elaine] Rumack: I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you.
Trudy Chacon: [Last line as she gets hit by missiles from Quaritch's Dragon Gunship] Rogue One is hit. I'm goin' in. Sorry Jake.
[repeated line] Baymax: Those who suffer, a loss, require contact from, friends, and or, loved ones
[first lines] Hassan: It's almost new. Three hundred cartridges. The guy who gave it to me said you can hit as far as three kilometers.

I did my first movie, 'The Mambo Kings,' in America without speaking the language. I learned the lines phonetically. I had an interpreter actually just to understand directions from my director.
There's nothing on Earth like really nailing the last line of a big book. You have 200 pages to tickle their fancy, and seven words to break their heart.
No one who has experienced facing a screaming, boiling, hysterical audience can avoid feeling shivers in the spine. It's a thin line between celebration and menace.
