I think a lot of times people who jump from one movie to another don't enjoy their private life. It's a great way to escape reality. But I enjoy my life.
I can feel the public side of my life and the private side of my life sort of drifting away from one another.
Certainly my life will not ever be as private and discreet, and perhaps I should even use the word insulated, as it was before.
But on the other hand I believe I'm a private person too, and I enjoy that aspect of my life as well.
I honestly in a lot of ways don't want to sing about my real life, because that's private.
Private Ash: I would have had you Witt if you were a Jap, long ago. Private Witt: They leave you here? Private Ash: Yeah, I was holding them up. Private Witt: You got one good huh? Private Ash: Right in the knee. Yeah, I'm out of this war for good Wi...
Private property is redundant. "Public property" is an oxymoron. All legit property is private. If property isn't private it's stolen.
We need the private sector to succeed, because if the private sector succeeds, America succeeds. Because it's not the government that produces jobs, it's the private sector.
Parker: [firing machine gun] I'm out of .30 Caliber! Private Jackson: [lining shots] Bleesed be the Lord my strength, which teaches my hands to the war, and my fingers to fight. [fires rifle twice] Private Jackson: My goodness and my fortress... my h...
Captain Miller: [shouting] Bangalores, clear the shingle. Private: Fire in the hole. Sergeant Horvath: Fire in the hole. Private: Fire in the hole. Private: [lights his bangalore] Medic Wade: Fire in the hole. [Bangalors blow up and the barbed wire i...
I'm not about to talk about what's romantic in my life - I figure if you talk about it once, then that's an open invitation for everyone to dig into your personal life even further. So, I just keep my private life to myself.
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: What is this Mickey Mouse shit? What in the name of Jesus H. Christ are you animals doing in my head? Why is Private Pyle out of his bunk after lights-out? Why is Private Pyle holding that weapon? Why aren't you stomping Pri...
Sgt. Marchand: Vous parlez francais? Serb private: No. Sgt. Marchand: Do you speak English? Serb private: Yes. Sgt. Marchand: We came for people. Serb private: Yes. Sgt. Marchand: People between lines. Serb private: Yes, yes. Sgt. Marchand: Where are...
Everything about my life is private, really. I'm not so sure that any of it has ever been public.
I think having my life be as private and quiet as possible is a way in which then I can go and play characters.
I refer of course to the soaring wonder of the age known as the Eiffel Tower. Never in history has a structure been more technologically advanced, materially obsolescent, and gloriously pointless all at the same time.
Private Reiben: [shouts at Private Ryan] Hey asshole! Two of our guys died trying to find you all right?
I try to protect my loved ones, the people I share my life with, because they don't have a public life like me. I want to keep their lives private out of respect for them.
I don't want to spend the rest of my life in politics. When I'm finished with my term as governor, I'm going back to the life that's waiting for me in the private sector.
Why should anyone be interested in my life? It's the prurience I find so extraordinary. Why, why, oh why should my private life be of any interest to the public? The only people who should be interested are my friends.
I never make a distinction between private life and politics - that's a petit bourgeois thing. How can you make a stand against Nazi Germany, or in Rwanda, when you live life by making that distinction?
