Each thing leapfrogs. I do a Genesis project - like now, we're just finishing off an album - and then by the time the album is doing its thing, I could do nothing or I could do a film.
As in, I think 'Badlands' is one of the funniest films of all time: 'Every day I wish I was carried off to a magical land, but that never happened' is one of the funniest lines in any film.
I don't have an acting coach, but the closest thing I have would be some of my peers that are my close friends. We bounce ideas off each other and help one another run our lines all the time.
We get on well and it won't be too much trouble spending so much time with him. He has a strange way of sleeping as he likes to kick off all the blankets and just have them up by his chest.
I will pick a raft of cartoons. And then later, it'll come time to run this cartoon. And I'll look at it, and I won't quite get it anymore. Because sometimes the grenade goes off in the moment, and then it doesn't repeat down the line.
When I interview celebrities, I always try to throw them off balance. My favorite is to ask 'em about crazy sex stuff like donkey punches and Monroe transfers. Works every time.

I have achieved what I wanted to achieve. I'm better off at some sort of independent place where they not only like what I produce but also trust me to be the one to produce it.
To tell you the truth I am hard put to think of anyone who's career was affected significantly by making all those phone calls and I must be wrong. I must be wrong! Because it has just got to pay off!
Jake Gittes: Have you ever heard the expression "Let sleeping dogs lie"? Sometimes you're better off not knowing.
Elias: [Taking 'I Eat Cock' sign off of his employee of the month picture; to Randal] Well, at least you spelled cock right this time.
[Why he was cutting the heads off parking meters] Luke: Small town, not much to do in the evenin'.
Shug: I think it pisses God off when you walk by the color purple in a field and don't notice it.
Lead Cop: [to Albrecht] I got a goddamned vigilante killer knocking off scumbags left and right. And you're covering up for somebody!
Mother: This isn't one of those trees where all the needles falls off, is it? Tree Man: No, that's them balsams.
Maria Hill: [taking off a HYDRA helmet] That thing was squeezing my brain. [Looks at Sam] Maria Hill: Who's this guy?
