Giving alms never lessens the purse.
Never beg from one who was a beggar.
The afternoon knows what the morning never suspected.
Luck never gives; it only lends.
Never look a gift horse in the mouth.
A lawyer never goes to law himself.
Borrowed garments never fit well.
Broken friendships can be soldered, but never sound.
Money spent on the mind is never spent in vain.
Never offer to teach a fish to swim.
Opportunities may come but they never linger.
The heart that truly loves never forgets.
A heart in love with beauty never grows old.
Good actions are never lost.
He that falls by himself never cries.
You never lose a false coin.
It is never too late or too early; you are never too young or too old. You can do what you can do.
Never give up trying to do what you really want to do in life. Where ever there is love and inspiration, you can never go wrong.
But we cannot rely on memorials and museums alone. We can tell ourselves we will never forget and we likely won't. But we need to make sure that we teach history to those who never had the opportunity to remember in the first place.
He's God....and his grace is a part of him working relentlessly on our behalf...never leaving, never abandoning, never stopping.
Never throw love away, never neglect it. Never assume you'll find better love somewhere else. Take it wherever you're lucky enough to find it, and always try to return it in kind. Don't take so much for granted.
