I've been writing music since 4th grade, and I love putting words together and expressing things in a way that you can move your head to and you can really relate to, because I have a lot to say.
I started my blog as an online diary. I moved to New York for a job, and I kind of wanted to keep my pictures all in one place. Also, I just love style blogs and wanted to join in on the fun!
I love short track. I competed in short track, I was a world champion in 1986 but at that point in time it wasn't in the Olympic Games so I moved into long track. Short track is a blast to skate and it's a blast to watch.
Once I moved to London I thought it was unbeatable. I work a lot in L.A. and love it, but would never give up London. It's a true world city, with an energy that's unique.
I would love a combination of action/adventure and... love. And stories told with heart. I would like people to be invigorated as well as moved. People to see the movie and see that. I love to play, y'know, well-rounded characters.
Most of the books and films I love walk a knife edge between romance and cynicism, and I wanted 'One Day' to stay on that line. I wanted it to be moving, but without being manipulative.
'Cabin Fever' was very much inspired by 'The Thing.' It's really a perfect guy's horror movie: There's no love story, it's just straight-up horror. And it's so well-done. It moves at a slow pace, but it's really terrific.
I have this threadbare caftan from the '60s that I got at a vintage store years ago - it's basically a muumuu. My friends are astonished that I wear it, but I love it. It's this light fabric that just moves with me.
But when women are moved and lend help, when women, who are by nature calm and controlled, give encouragement and applause, when virtuous and knowledgeable women grace the endeavor with their sweet love, then it is invincible.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Don't just dream because everyone around you is dreaming; instead, dream big because you deserve a better life, and can achieve it.
Success has proven to us over and over again that one's dream would become impossible to achieve, if one continuously convinces oneself to believe so.
Stop making excuses and start giving yourself enough reasons why you must eat healthier and exercise regularly. Excuses are your enemies of progress.
A lot of people have attained financial success in the negative and positive directions, but we are yet to see anyone achieve a happy life in the negative direction.
Move by faith and courage; instead of by fear and doubts. Your thoughts can either keep you stagnant in life or drive you to greater heights.
Don't be troubled or discouraged by your weaknesses, because we all have them. Change them gradually as you move higher and higher to the pinnacle of your true destiny.
As long as you keep your mind occupied with positive self-talk, you can never lack happiness as you march forward with God on the lead.
Enjoy every moment to the fullest, but don't forget to plan for a future that's better than where you currently stand. Life is a journey of continuous progress.
I am rubbish at the gym. I prefer to exercise by moving around - it doesn't matter whether I am dancing on a Friday night or on my bike getting from A to B.
I think encouraging young people to twerk might be a bad thing. It's a stripper's move. If I had a daughter of nine, I wouldn't want her twerking.
Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.
