To be honest, marriage doesn't scare me and that, it's just once you've been together for so long, if you haven't got any kids it's just a big expensive day out for everyone else to enjoy, isn't it?
I'm not saying it isn't frustrating that my films haven't gotten a bigger release, but I'm really happy with them and if you just keep cranking and eventually, if you have a certain sensibility, some of your movies will hit and some just won't.
Movies have these transcendent moments where everything is just right, from the dialogue to the music to the lighting to the narrative context; everything is just perfect, and something magical happens - the film breaks through the screen and does so...
I just think old old movies, they make you concentrate and pay attention so much more. They feel so warm. A lot of modern digital videotape, it's just too bright. Don't know why, it's not warm.
You just realize that at the beginning of 'Scooby' you're just going to start at level ten and stay at ten the entire time. It's hard. It physically beats you up. It's definitely one of the hardest movies you can do.
It's a pity that I can never really enjoy my movies because, after the mixing, your capacity as a spectator just disappears. I have to think about what I felt just before the mixing.
There's too many people in seats of power who just haven't got a clue what they're doing. They're bean counters, and it just pisses me off because consequently our kids go to see crap movies.
John Milner: [to Carol] Hey! Driving is a serious business. I ain't having no accidents just because of you!
Paul Biegler: As a lawyer, I've had to learn that people aren't just good or just bad. People are many things.
Al Zimmer: Perfect! Beautiful! Could you give me just one more? George Valentin: With pleasure.
David Huxley: How can all these things happen to just one person?
Will Bloom: [to Ed] You're like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny combined - just as charming, and just as fake.
[at the funeral parlor] Walter Sobchak: GOD DAMN IT! Look, just because we're bereaved, that doesn't make us saps!
Edward Cole: [Angrily to Carter] Just because I told you my story - that does not invite you to be part of it!
Dirk: I can't. I just can't get it hard. I just can't. I'm sorry. Surfer: You shouldn't do this sorta thing, faggot.
We had our first meeting yesterday, and we just laughed all the way through, so if we can bottle that, then I'll be happy. We just get on, and that's half the battle.
It has gotten worse as I'm becoming more successful. My nerves. Just because there's a bit more pressure, and people are expecting a lot more from me.
Straight people say, 'You know you're just gay,' and gay people say, 'You know you're just gay.' There is such a thing as bisexual!
It's so reassuring to have a woman heroine who triumphs with more than just what she has on the outside... who has more to offer the world than just a pretty picture.
I have been a fan of Dexter since the pilot. Once I got the audition I just squealed, and you would have thought I just won 45 million dollars.
I have been very clear to everybody that just because I'm getting married does not mean I call myself a straight.
