A consistent thinker is a thoughtless person, because he conforms to a pattern; he repeats phrases and thinks in a groove.
Every time I went to the doctor when I was in my twenties, he repeated the same thing to me: don't wait too long to have children.
But I'd be lying if I didn't say that every time you go to make a film, you're desperate to either do it better than you did it last time or to not repeat yourself.
[repeated line] David Kleinfeld: [brandishing a weapon, and grinning psychotically] How does it feel? Huh?
[repeated line] Diner Patron: Just put that anywhere, pal! Yeah! Good save!
[repeated line] Edward R. Murrow: Good night, and good luck.
[repeated line] Virginia 'Pepper' Potts: Will that be all, Mr. Stark? Tony Stark: Yes, that will be all, Miss. Potts.
Malky: It's cops outside, we better go. Norman Stansfield: [repeating] It's the cops outside... we better go.
[repeated line] Eliza Doolittle: I'm a good girl, I am!
[repeated line] Nina: Corporate accounts payable, Nina speaking. *JUST* a moment.
[Repeated line] Ulysses Everett McGill: Damn! We're in a tight spot!
Mr. White: If you shoot this man, you die next. Repeat. If you shoot this man, you die next.
[Repeated line] Jack Torrance: [as he chases his son with an ax] Danny, I'm coming!
[repeated line] Narrator: And he/we did the dumbest thing anyone of us could ever have imagined.
[repeated line] Ben Thomas: I love you.
[repeated line] Colour Sergeant Bourne: All right, nobody told you to stop working.
Nothing in the nature around us is evil. This needs to be repeated since one of the human ways of talking oneself into inhuman acts is to cite the supposed cruelty of nature.
I really loved crunk. I loved the extreme nature of it, how repetitious it was, and how these basic, angry chants would just be repeated over and over again.
We converse as we live by repeating, by combining and recombining a few elements over and over again just as nature does when of elementary particles it builds a world.
Any act often repeated soon forms a habit; and habit allowed, steady gains in strength, At first it may be but as a spider's web, easily broken through, but if not resisted it soon binds us with chains of steel.
You know, I have some issues. But I just love to play different characters all the time, and I try not to repeat myself too much.
