Nearly everybody I know does something to try to remove herself to clear her head and to have enough time and space to think... All of us instinctively feel that something inside us is crying out for more spaciousness and stillness to offset the exhi...
I'll bet you $10 right now that there are an awful lot of literary writers who started a long time ago and now they find themselves in this place where secretly they feel trapped. And you know what they really read for fun? They read crime fiction.
There was a series called 'Game of Thrones' which was very popular here in the United States, a post-Tolkien kind of thing. It was garbage, yet very addictive garbage - because there's lots of violence, all the women take their clothes off all the ti...
On a film set, for me, there's so much more time to process what's going on than there is on a television set. There's more wiggle room to try things and fail and try again and get to the heart of what's going on in the scene, which is really fun for...
I've realized that being happy is a choice. You never want to rub anybody the wrong way or not be fun to be around, but you have to be happy. When I get logical and I don't trust my instincts - Thats when I get in trouble.
It's like, the more you commit, the happier the animators are; if you're at all iffy and concerned, then it doesn't free them up to do as much fun stuff, so you have to just go for it and, again, trust the people around you and not be seemingly guard...
Maude: That was fun! Let's play something together. Harold: I don't play anything. Maude: Nothing? Dear me, everybody should be able to make some music. That's the cosmic dance.
Louise Pendrake: Well, Jack. Now you know. This is a house of ill fame. And I'm a fallen flower. This life is not only wicked and sinful. It isn't even any fun.
Shock: [singing] I wish my cohorts weren't so dumb. Barrel: *I'm* not the dumb one. Lock: You're no fun! Shock: Shut up! Lock: Make me!
Alicia: Well, did you hear that? I'm practically on the wagon, that's quite a change. Devlin: It's a phase. Alicia: You don't think a woman can change? Devlin: Sure, change is fun, for awhile.
Marty Moose: Sorry, folks! We're closed for two weeks to clean and repair America's favorite family fun park. Sorry, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh!
Clark: Aah, what d'ya say honey? Ohh. Despite all the little problems, it really is fun isn't it? Ellen Griswold: No. But with every new day there's fresh hope.
James Hunt: I tend to enjoy myself first. The sum of life needs to be pleasure. What's the point of having a million of medals, cups and planes if you don't have any fun? And how is that winning?
John Doe: What sick ridiculous puppets we are / and what gross little stage we dance on / What fun we have dancing and fucking / Not a care in the world / Not knowing that we are nothing / We are not what was intended.
Lloyd Dobler: You used to be fun. You used to be warped and twisted and hilarious... and I mean that in the best way - I mean it as a compliment! Constance: I was hilarious once, wasn't I?
Gina Montana: I like Fernando, he's a fun guy and he's nice... and he knows how to treat a woman. Manny: [laughing] Knows how to treat a woman? By taking you to the toilet to make out?
David Sumner: Ok, you've had your fun. I'll give you one more chance, and if you don't clear out now, there'll be real trouble. I mean it.
[in ladies' room] Gail: I read it in Cosmopolitan. Lizzie: It's an interesting theory. Gail: Actually it's a nightmare. I've been desperate for a shag but watching him suffer was just too much fun!
Turbo: Because of you, Ralph, I'm now the most powerful virus in the arcade! I should thank you. But... it'd be more fun to kill you!
[from inside the haycart] Inga: Hallo. Vould you like to have a roll in ze hay? [Dr. Frankenstein stutters] Inga: It's fun. [She begins to roll in the hay] Inga: Roll, roll, roll in ze hay.
I think any writer is a fool if he doesn't do it for money. There needs to be some kind of incentive in addition to the project. It all goes together. It's fun to sit there and think of characters and get them into action, then be paid for it.
