Rebecca Sugar is an American animator, composer and director who is best known for being a writer and storyboard artist on the animated television series Adventure Time, as well as being the creator of the series Steven Universe, which debuted on Cartoon Network in November 2013. This made her the first woman to create a show for Cartoon Network. She also did a few storyboards on the Sony Pictures Animation film Hotel Transylvania.
