I was called in from the producer, who was a guy who lived in Texas and an outsider in the film industry, and he said, 'I want to make a movie and I want to make it about this guy; will you join me?' And I said yes, and I was intrigued by this story of Jobs. But also, I was intrigued by the story that would mean so much by where we are right now.
