She talked about God giving man free will. Because of that, there is evil in the world. If God pulled everyone’s strings all the time, we’d be puppets.
God is strongest when we are weakest.
God made man, but man made the society we live in.
Bad things happen to everyone. No one by their behavior can store up any immunity from disaster or tragedy. All any of us can control is how we respond when tough times come. This does not diminish God or his sovereignty in my mind.
Accept what God freely gives and find peace.
As long as you have breath in your body, there’s hope.
