I wasn't always a vegetarian. I didn't care about animals one way or the other; they were part of the scenery, until one day on tour, I saw a baby panda. I thought that it was the most fabulous animal in the world and made a different kind of connection. I began to understand how animals were part of the greater scheme, and I stopped eating them.
