Anna Kendrick is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a child actress, and played Dinah Lord in the 1998 Broadway musical High Society, for which she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. In 2009 she rose to international fame after her performance as Natalie Keener in Up in the Air, for which she received nominations for the BAFTA, Golden Globe, SAG, and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
